This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Cary is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Cary is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Down in the heart of Cary, you can't go wrong with MC Cuisines atmosphere, service, and food. We sat inside because of the heat wave going on outside. Also, I recommend you make a reservation to ensure the seating you desire. I am sure when the weather is perfect the outside seating fills up quick. The Historic house converted to a restaurant is lovely and well thought out. Overall a fairly quiet atmosphere in side that is conducive to easy conversations with your party. The service was spot on and the server had outstanding knowledge of the menu. She provided some excellent recommendations. I went out on a limb and had the special sea bass entree. It does have the head and tail when it is served. You can request to have it served without the head and tail. I did turn the head away from our dinner party. The bass was excellent. Don't forget to try the skin. It was good but the fish meat was fabulous. The rest of the party had the tenderloin and the walnut shrimp. Both plattings looked great and tasted superb. We are looking forward to coming back and working our way through the menu.

My boyfriend and I had a very nice dinner there on Saturday and absolutely loved the service by Zoe'! She was so sweet and attentive and the food was also amazing. Totally recommend the branzino fish and any of their sushi! Drinks are also so so good!

Absolutely out of this world! We had the most wonderful evening tonight at MC Cuisine! The restaurant is in a quaint house in the heart of Cary. Excellent wine selections and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed a Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon with our appetizer of Manchego FlambΓ©. Delightful experience with the flaming cheese along with a convergence of flavors of lemon and rum. For our entrees, we wanted all of them. My partner ordered the Duck and I ordered the Prawns. Our waiter was so attentive; he made our meal and evening one we will always remember! Chef Mark- thank you!! The flavors were all so enjoyable. We will look forward to our next visit. And Van.. you truly were the cherry on top of this entire evening. Thank you for honoring us with your time and conversation. Itβs apparent how much you, as the owner, ensure your guests have an evening to remember.

WOWOWOW! The food was excellent, our waiter was extremely professional and overcommunicative as he was carefully handling a backed up bartender and a backed up kitchen given how busy it was (which is sometimes all you can ask for from the poor messenger), and the interiors of this old house in downtown Cary were beautifully done. Only points docked for bad drinks - we ordered a very watery Thai spicy chili marg (off their cocktail menu) and a very watery, almost undrinkable Manhattan. I got wine, and it was fine. When we asked for a slightly stronger marg, the bartender suggested a double which was just as weak lol and more expensive! They should add Decoy Sauvignon Blanc to the menu. Suggest you order wine or sake for a more consistent experience, they need to step up the bartending game because that is truly the only missing piece. We also waited like 15 minutes at the front despite having a reservation because there was no host. But did I mention the food? WOW. We ordered crispy brussel sprouts, bengal rolls, and a daily special - fried squash blossoms stuffed with a crab mixture. Brussels and bengal rolls were top notch - squash blossoms were also great, but the other two wer

Beautiful ambiance and great food, but serious hygiene issue ruined our 40th birthday celebration. We visited MC Restaurant in Cary to celebrate my 40th birthday with my husband. The food was delicious, and the outdoor seating area was lovely. We were hoping for a special evening without our teenagers. Unfortunately, just after paying, we spotted a cockroach near our table, which was incredibly disappointing and disturbing for a high-end restaurant. I had also mentioned during our reservation that it was a birthday celebration, but the server was unaware until I told her, which felt like a missed opportunity to make our night more special. I shared a video with the restaurantβs Instagram but have not yet received a response. Iβve sent this feedback to the restaurant via Instagram and am awaiting their response. Because of this experience, we will not be returning. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues to prevent future guests from facing the same problems. Thank you
